The Big Book Of Amiga Hardware
This site provides technical information and pictures of Amiga hardware both from commodore and third party. From the oldest A1000 add ons to the latest 3D hardware, this site aims to provide a comprehensive list. While it doesn't quite have a listing for every addon ever yet, it does already have quite a large database.
Amiga Realm
This site aims to be your one-stop-shop for all thats Amiga related on the web. Links are sorted by catagory, so its easy to find what you are looking for. There is also a "name and shame" anti-piracy service, as well as Amiga technical support, and other useful features.
Amiga Web Directory
Almost every Amiga website worth its salt is listed on the Amiga Web Directory. As well as looking through the "Whats New?" pages, you can find sites by catagory, or using the most advanced Amiga related search engine on the internet.
AmiBench
This is
the
place to visit if you are looking to buy/sell Amiga hardware or software. The A4000 used to make this website was purchased through AmiBench.
VaporWare
Vaporware make some of the finest Amiga internet software. Voyager 3 is a web browser supporting JavaScript, HTTP 1.1, HTML 4.1, and Shockwave Flash. In general use, it is faster on my 25mhz 68030 in 800x600 24bit than IE5 on my P166 in 800x600 16bit, and AmIRC is the best IRC client on
any
platform (so the saying goes =).
Exotica
Exotica started out as a collection of old Amiga game music in "exotic" or non-standard file formats. Now it is a massive collection of some of the best Amiga music ever made. There are literally thousands of songs on here. As well as this there are scans of hundreds of old game boxes, loads of old diskmags and crunchers, and some other Amiga nostalgia.
Paul Burkey's Homepage
Paul "Shoecake" Burkey is the author of classic Amiga games such as "Sneech" and "Foundation". On his site he has loads of info on those games as well as, well, just loads and loads of stuff.
The Anally Retentive Retro Gamers Homepage (ARRGH)
This is a great classic computing site. The only problem is, there are two huge errors in it; They reckon that the Spectrum had better games than the C64 and they also think the Apple Mac is better than the Amiga. Still, if you can forgive these glaringly huge errors, the rest of the site is really good. It contains information on a vast range of old computers and consoles, as well as the games and people that shaped them.
www.c64.org and www.c64.com
These sites complement each other nicely. www.c64.org has a giant search engine for .SID music, as well as being a central bulletin board and newsdesk for the C64 scene. C64.com is a giant database of classic C64 games available for download.
The Fridge
The fridge is an online resource for programming information related to the Commodore 64.
The Machine Room
An excellent site containing hardware details, histories, notes and links for HUNDREDs of older computers. Absolutely brilliant site!
AmiEmulators
Although no longer in development, Juan Antonio Gomez Galves wrote some of the best emulators for the Amiga. His gameboy emulation is second to none, and his MSX emulator is the fastest on the Amiga.
WickedLand
WickedLand is a central online resource for loads of metal and punk bands, such as the Deftones, System of a down, Korn etc.
Offspring.com
The Offspring made one of the all time greatest albums ("Smash"), and even though they kind of suck these days their website is always cool.
